Full time kitchen post

We've almost been open a year and what a year it's been. We've surpassed anything we predicted in how the business has grown but then, how on earth could we predict what wasn't there in the first place?! 

Before we opened, I thought long and hard about how many staff we would need.  Again, how on earth could we predict this?  We started by recruiting lots of part-timers (mostly students). Unfortunately, this didn't work out that well; whilst the team were great, trying to work around upmteen different timetables wasn't.

Onwards and upwards.  We've had a lot of stability lately and pretty much have (in addition to me and Mr R.) three full time staff and a few part time.  This is far more than I ever thought we'd have.  Unfortunately, it's still not enough.  The problem is trying to get the right people in doing the things we need them to do.

I couldn't be happier with the current team at T Ann Cake. They do a mixture of making us laugh when we might on occasion feel like not laughing; occasionally making us cry but not very often and our lovely customers seem to love them too!

The current team have evolved from me recruiting for part-time staff and these have turned into full time roles.  I am now, for the first time ever, advertising for a full time post.
